Pamela Reeder, Chief Financial Officer

Pamela Reeder has been the Chief Financial Officer of the United Way of Tampa Bay since July 2002. Pamela joined United Way of Hillsborough County in 1998 and in 2002 successfully led the combination of the two finance, human resources and administrative functions of the United Ways of Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.
Pamela oversees the management of finance, human resouces and administrative operations and staff. She is responsible for the United Way’s compliance with United Way of America standards, the Patriot Act, Sarbanes Oxley legislation and other regulatory requirements. She works directly with the audit and ethics committee and finance committee,—all comprised of key volunteer leaders.
Pamela received her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). She is a certified public accountant in the state of Florida. Prior to the United Way, Pamela worked as a senior manager in the nonprofit services practice at KPMG Peat Marwick. She also worked as the Finance Director of a local human services organization specializing in providing services for children with disabilities.
Pamela enjoys spending time with her husband Rick, her good friends and her two dogs. She loves travelling and is an avid Tampa Bay Devil Rays fan. |
