Women of Influence

The Power to Make a Difference.

Women of Influence members, designated by a gift of $5,000 or more, is a powerful leadership network of top female philanthropists in the Tampa Bay Area. It is a collaborative for women to experience the collective good of their efforts and to become personally involved in projects and programs that have the greatest impact in our community.

Women of Influence, launched at January of 2006, guide the mission and strategic direction of our Women's Leadership Group, a leadership initiative of more than 800 members that celebrates the philanthropic power of women to make a difference in their community.

By partnering with other like-minded women in the community, Women of Influence will provide the opportunities and support needed to be leaders and philanthropists who:

• Believe the United Way of Tampa Bay is a trusted, knowledgeable and responsible investor of their contribution.

• Understand that women banding together are a powerful force.

• Seek to interact on a peer level with other successful women.

• Want to be an example to other women by stepping forward to be a leader.

• See value in making connections with powerful women.

• Wish to get integrated and involved in the community.

• Want to have input into how their charitable giving is directed.
